In the days following the announcement on the Breonna Taylor case last week, more than 200 people were arrested by Louisville Metro Police Departments officers.

Among the arrested was Kentucky’s only Black female representative, state Rep. Attica Scott (D), her 19 year-old daughter Ashanti Scott and Shameka Parrish-Wright, organizer with the Kentucky Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression.

Scott announced on her Facebook page Thursday morning that she, her daughter and Parrish-Wright would speak at a press conference on their court date, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. outside of the Louisville Courthouse.

On Sept. 24, Scott was arrested by LMPD and charged with felony rioting, unlawful assembly and failure to disperse.

Attica is the St. Representative who proposed the “Breonna Law” to end no-knock warrants statewide.

Días después del anuncio del caso Breonna Taylor la semana pasada, más de 200 personas fueron arrestadas por oficiales de la policía de Louisville LMPD.

Entre las arrestadas estaba la única representante negra de Kentuck, la Representante Estatal Attica Scott (D), su hija de 19 años Ashanti Scott y Shameka Parrish-Wright, organizadora del grupo Kentucky Alliance Against Racism and Political Repression.

Scott anunció en su página de Facebook, este jueves que ella, su hija y Parrish-Wright hablarán en conferencia de prena el día de su audiencia en el tribunal a la 1 p.m. afuera del edificio de la corte.

Attica es la Representante que propuso la ley “Breonna Law” para prohibir las órdenes de arresto o cateo por parte de la policía sin llamar a la puerta o sin previo aviso.
